According to Vietnam Airlines, recently the airline has completed the Restructuring Project - a comprehensive project with solutions to improve the competitiveness of Vietnam's national airline.
The Vietnam Airlines restructuring project was submitted by the Government to the National Assembly with a number of recommendations allowing Vietnam Airlines to offer additional shares to existing shareholders to increase its charter capital to a maximum of VND22,000 billion. Currently, Vietnam Airlines cannot implement this due to the provisions of the Securities Law and the Law on Management and Use of State Capital Invested in Production.
Vietnam Airlines' restructuring project aims to fully recover and develop sustainably before 2035.
