Quoc Viet becomes the second youngest striker to score in V.League 2023

Quoc Viet scored his first goal for HAGL Club in the V.League arena. This goal helped Quoc Viet become the second youngest player to score in V.League 2023. The player at the top of the list is midfielder Tran Nam Hai of Song Lam Nghe An Club. Nam Hai scored at the age of 18 years and 366 days. Meanwhile, Quoc Viet's goal was at the age of 19 years and 336 days.

Quoc Viet and Nam Hai are no strangers to each other. They are both members of the Vietnam U20 team, which recently participated in the 2023 U20 Asian Cup finals in Uzbekistan. Tran Nam Hai is one of the few players who regularly play in V.League 2023. This player participated in all matches before round 5, with a total playing time of 267 minutes. Nam Hai scored in the 45th minute, in the opening match against SHB Da Nang.
