At the meeting, Ms. Elizabeth Leysen, Executive Director of Aquitara Impact Fund 1, said that in the period of 2025-2035, Aquitara Fund is carrying out key tasks in Vietnam such as: Supporting the treatment of Agent Orange/dioxin in contaminated areas, while promoting the care and support of victims; developing green, modern and sustainable economic infrastructure.

In particular, in the field of eco-industrial park development, the Aquitara Fund is interested in the strategy that Dong Nai province has planned and called for investment. The Fund is approaching the target of disbursing 25 million euros in 2025 for the treatment of Agent Orange/dioxin, and the remaining 75 million euros will be deployed according to demand in the following year.
Aquitara Foundation appreciates the attention, guidance and support from provincial leaders, as well as units that need to cooperate in operating this industrial park with domestic and foreign partners. Especially enterprises operating industrial parks in the province, in order to attract FDI capital from Belgium, the Schengen area (an area of 27 European countries) and the EU (European Union).

At the meeting, representatives of a number of infrastructure businesses shared information about the potential, strengths and development policies of industrial parks in Dong Nai, especially the plan to develop ecological industrial parks in the province, and expressed their willingness to cooperate to develop green industrial parks in Dong Nai.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Head of the Management Board of Industrial Parks Duong Thi Xuan Nuong said that Dong Nai currently has 37 established industrial parks, some of which are aiming to build ecological industrial parks. Dong Nai provincial leaders are always ready to connect and welcome businesses with resources to invest and cooperate with businesses in the province, contributing to promoting Dong Nai's industrial development.
Aquitara Impact Fund 1 was established in 2024, in Brussels, Belgium, with many years of experience in the field of investment and application of modern technology to treat Agent Orange. Participated in the treatment of Agent Orange at Bien Hoa Airport in the period of 2020-2022, with the result of over 99% clean land.
