Donate and support people in provinces affected by storms

Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hung Yen province, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of Khoai Chau and Hoan Long communes launched a movement to collect donations and support people in the provinces affected by storms.

* As of November 6, the Khoai Chau Commune Fatherland Front Committee has received a total value of cash and goods donations of more than 408 million VND, of which more than 345 million VND in cash has been transferred to the Khoai Chau Commune Relief Fund; goods including rice, instant noodles, drinking water... worth about 63 million VND. The entire amount of donations was deposited into the Hung Yen Provincial Relief Fund account to be transferred to people in localities that suffered heavy damage due to natural disasters.

* The Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hoan Long commune organized a campaign to support people affected by storm No. 10. After 28 days of launching, by November 6, the commune received over 110 million VND from agencies, units, schools and philanthropists.

The entire amount was transferred by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune to the Hung Yen Provincial Relief Fund Mobilization Committee to join hands to support people in disaster-hit areas to soon stabilize their lives.
