Mr. Le Thanh Binh, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board, said that the locality has handed over all the cleared land to the main highway. Regarding the service road and cross-road, there are still 5 households that have not relocated their houses and structures. The Board and the locality are coordinating to resolve the issue.

Currently, the project progress has reached about 60% of the plan, focusing on the following items: digging the roadbed; filling K95, K98; constructing crushed stone, asphalt concrete of all kinds... basically meeting the requirements.

According to Mr. Ta Gia Manh Hung, Director of the Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan Expressway Project Management Board, the remaining construction volume on the main route is more than 200 billion VND. With 3 paving lines, contractors strive to achieve a minimum daily output of 3-4 billion VND. "We have asked contractors to create a progress chart and sign a commitment to strictly control during the peak period of the finish line," Mr. Hung informed.

After inspecting the construction site, Deputy Minister Nguyen Viet Hung noted that the project is entering its peak phase, preparing to reach the finish line, and the obstacles in site clearance and basic materials have been resolved by Da Nang City. The Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board and contractors need to continue to promote the spirit of "overcoming the sun and overcoming the rain", "working 3 shifts and 4 shifts" to closely follow the progress, control the quality of the project, and ensure the goal of opening the route on August 19, to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day and the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the transport sector.

Regarding the remaining problems regarding the site for the frontage road, the Deputy Minister requested the investor and contractor to proactively coordinate with the locality to resolve the issue in May and complete the frontage road in November.
