Launching the project "Phuc Xa Flower Wharf - Ba Dinh"

On the morning of October 30, the People's Committee of Ba Dinh District ( Hanoi ), the Women's Union of Ba Dinh District organized activities to participate in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in 2024-2025; launching the project "Phuc Xa Flower Wharf - Ba Dinh".

The launching of the project "Phuc Xa - Ba Dinh Flower Wharf" (Phuc Xa ward) is meaningful in connecting tourist destinations: Quan Thanh Temple, Voi Phuc Temple, Ngoc Dao - Ngu Xa night food and beverage walking street (Truc Bach ward), Ngoc Khanh - Giang Vo Truong service business street (Ngoc Khanh ward) and the upcoming activities of experiencing "Leng keng train - Hanoi memories", experiencing Long Bien night market activities to continue promoting the typical tourism products of Ba Dinh district.

To have the "Phuc Xa Flower Wharf" project, the forces of Ba Dinh district and Phuc Xa ward cleared nearly 100 shacks, barns, leveled nearly 10 hectares, and cut down about 5,000 wild trees.

The Women's Union of Ba Dinh District has planted and cared for thousands of square meters of flowers; transformed the shabby, dilapidated area into an airy space with beautiful scenery on the right bank of the Red River, right below Long Bien Bridge.

By participating in the city's Creative Week in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network 2024-2025, Chairman of the Ba Dinh District People's Committee Ta Nam Chien said that the district always wants to learn and share creative ideas, as well as encourage young talents, promote heritage values, protect environmental resources, preserve traditional crafts, develop sustainable tourism and join hands for the community to enrich social life.

The Chairman of the District People's Committee also requested that Party committees at all levels, departments, branches, organizations and people of the district join hands more in creative activities, so that Ba Dinh district becomes a creative center, where all ideas are respected and promoted.
