Launching the Student Team to Participate in the 2024 International Youth Science Olympiad

NDO - The Hanoi student team, representing Vietnam at the 2024 International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) in Romania, consists of 6 official members. These are the students with the highest achievements in the IJSO team selection exam organized by the Hanoi Departmentof Education and Training last September.

The members of the Vietnamese team participating in the 21st International Junior Science Olympiad include: Vu Nhat Long, Vuong Ha Chi (Newton Secondary and High School), Nguyen Thanh Nhan (Nguyen Hue High School for the Gifted), Le Gia Hong Minh, Nguyen Ngoc Que Chi, Le Tung Lam (Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted). They won first prize in the selection contest for the student team participating in the 2024 International Junior Science Olympiad organized by the Hanoi Department of Education and Training with the participation of 215 students from 14 schools in Hanoi on September 18. The International Junior Science Olympiad (IJSO) is an international competition for 15-year-old students organized by the Ministry of Education of each country to encourage students to access scientific knowledge early and open up opportunities for cultural exchange between students and teachers from countries around the world . In 2024, the 21st International Junior Science Olympiad will be held in Bucharest, Romania from December 2 to 12. It is expected that about 60 countries and territories will participate. This is the 14th year that the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has been assigned the responsibility of organizing the selection and establishment of the participating team. Through 14 International Junior Science Olympiads from 2007 to 2023, the IJSO Hanoi team, representing Vietnam, has won 77 medals, including 16 Gold medals.
