More than 6.7 billion VND for planting stakes, measuring and drawing cadastral maps to clear the ground for the Ring Road 4 Project - Ho Chi Minh City

(DN) - On October 22, according to the Dong Nai Province Construction Investment Project Management Board, the unit approved the cost estimates for a number of tasks to be carried out simultaneously in the preparation phase of Project Component 1-2, compensation, support, resettlement and construction of service roads and side roads of Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City section passing through the province.

Accordingly, the total cost to carry out site clearance works (phase 1) and cadastral mapping (phase 1) of Component Project 1-2 is more than 6.7 billion VND.

Along with that, the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board also approved the estimates of 2 bidding packages under Component Project 1-2 including: task establishment, site clearance pile design; technical design - cadastral map measurement estimates with a total estimated value of 2 bidding packages of more than 40 million VND.

The Ring Road 4 Project - Ho Chi Minh City has a construction length of more than 159km passing through the provinces of Dong Nai , Tay Ninh and Ho Chi Minh City. Of which, the section passing through the province is about 46km long (including Thu Bien bridge).

On June 27, 2025, the National Assembly issued Resolution No. 220/2025/QH15 on investment policy for the construction of Ring Road 4 - Ho Chi Minh City. In which, Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee was assigned to be the managing agency of 2 component projects, including: Component Project 1-2, compensation, support, resettlement and construction of service roads and side roads in the province, with a total investment of more than 10 trillion VND from the local budget; Component Project 2-2, construction of the expressway section from Chau Duc Bridge to Thu Bien Bridge (including Thu Bien Bridge), under the public-private partnership (PPP) method, with a total investment of more than 16.2 trillion VND; in which, the local budget allocates capital of more than 4 trillion VND and investor capital of more than 12.2 trillion VND.

In August 2025, the Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Construction Investment Project Management Board to be the investor of Component Project 1-2.
