Launching the Danang Innovation Space

Within the framework of the Danang Venture and Angel Forum 2025 (DAVAS 2025), on the morning of May 29 in Danang, Sunwah Group (Hong Kong, China) in collaboration with the Danang Center for Innovation and Startup Support (DEC) officially launched the Danang Innovation Space - Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Dr. Le Duc Vien - Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang said that in recent years, Da Nang City has continuously promoted international cooperation activities in the field of science, technology and innovation to enhance the capacity of the local startup ecosystem and connect with leading innovation centers in the region and the world.

Da Nang City has successively established innovation spaces with international partners, typically the Da Nang - Seoul Innovation Space; Da Nang - Singapore Innovation Space. And now there is another important milestone in the journey of international integration and connection of the innovation startup ecosystem by officially launching the Da Nang - Greater Bay Area Innovation Space GBA.

This space is a cooperative initiative to enhance connectivity between the Da Nang innovation ecosystem and the Greater Bay Area (including 9 cities in Guangdong province and two special administrative regions of Hong Kong and Macau (China) with a population of about 86 million people).

The Da Nang - Greater Bay Area Innovation Space GBA attracts much attention.

This space aims to become a platform to support innovative startups, promote investment, share technology and connect experts in the region. The establishment of this space not only expands the international cooperation network of Da Nang City but also continues to affirm the effectiveness and practicality of the orientation of developing international cooperation models in the field of innovative startups.

“With Da Nang - Greater Bay Area GBA, the city's startup ecosystem is expected to have a new strategic connection platform, creating favorable conditions for startups to access markets, resources, technology and investment opportunities from partners in Hong Kong, Macau, China and the East Asia region,” emphasized Dr. Le Duc Vien.
