Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong - Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports - emphasized that A80 is not only an electronic information portal, but also a " smart assistant", a "companion" for people and tourists on the journey of discovery , experience and live every moment of the activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 in the capital.
The interface of the “A80 - Pride of Vietnam” platform is elaborately and modernly designed, with the festive colors of Thang Long - Hanoi , with two main colors of red and yellow, evoking feelings of warmth, pride and connection.
Right from the homepage, users are greeted with images of President Ho Chi Minh reading the Declaration of Independence, a solemn parade, and iconic structures of the capital such as Hoan Kiem Lake, the Opera House, and President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum. The categories are arranged scientifically and clearly, with a friendly interface, making it easy for users to access and experience.
On the “A80 – Pride of Vietnam” platform, citizens, overseas Vietnamese and international friends can easily access the schedule of military parades, marches, art programs, cultural and historical exhibitions, along with official announcements on event organization, traffic regulation, security and health.
The platform also offers behind-the-scenes news, photos, live TV videos, and community-shared moments.
Categories are clearly grouped; image and video libraries are updated quickly; interactive digital maps allow users to search for locations and events in real time.
The digital cultural space is also expanded with the column "80 is beautiful" - where the community shares meaningful moments, contributing to creating a space for emotional connection, spreading national pride on social networks.

One of the highlights of the A80 platform is its ability to integrate technology to serve real-life situations. The platform is equipped with an AI chatbot that acts as a friendly virtual assistant, providing advice on suitable events, guiding tour routes, and reminding users of their attendance schedules.
In particular, the interactive digital map provides detailed information about event venues, live screening points, water points, restrooms, medical stations, as well as rest and dining areas, helping residents and visitors to conveniently monitor and move around.
Not only does it manage events, A80 also aims to become a “festival social network”, where each citizen can express their love for the country by creating and sharing greeting cards, red flag avatars with yellow stars, posting images and videos from local events – contributing to spreading the vibrant celebration atmosphere in the digital space.

"We hope that the "A80 - Proud of Vietnam" portal and application will be a bridge connecting the past - present - future; a digital space for each citizen to relive, contemplate and preserve the sacred values of national history. At the same time, from this foundation, we will inspire, believe and take responsibility to the young generation so that they can follow in their ancestors' footsteps, nurture and build the country to become more prosperous, civilized and modern," said Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong.
