Right after the humiliating defeat to Barca in round 35 of La Liga, Real Madrid made a decision regarding their hot seat. In particular, coach Xabi Alonso will lead Real Madrid right from the FIFA Club World Cup taking place next June.

Initially, there was much information that coach Ancelotti would lead Real Madrid in the FIFA Club World Cup, as a farewell to the team's leadership for the Italian strategist.
