In addition, the market is also combined with the spring flower fair, attracting a large number of people and tourists to visit, shop and experience.
The Dak Doa district safe agricultural products market was held at the vacant land of the old Trading Company 25 along Highway 19 from January 19. In recent days, the 14 booths have been bustling with people visiting and shopping for goods to use during Tet.
Ms. Truong Thi Xuan Hanh (Group 6, Dak Doa town) shared: “The goods at the market are very rich and diverse. Most of the products have been recognized as OCOP, with clear origins, so we are very assured of the quality. I have bought products such as: bananas, dried jackfruit, macadamia nuts, cashews... to use during the upcoming Tet holiday”.
Ms. Tao Thi Hong Linh (Krun village, Hneng commune) said: “The safe agricultural products fair combined with the spring flower fair takes place at the same time, attracting people to learn and shop. Consumers coming here have many choices, from clean agricultural products produced by ethnic minorities to pre-processed and processed products such as: beef jerky, macadamia nuts, coffee, pepper, herbal teas... Many products are recognized as 3-4 star OCOP, so I feel very secure.”

According to information from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dak Doa district: The whole district has 41 agricultural products that have been recognized as OCOP, of which 32 products have achieved 3 stars and 9 products have achieved 4 stars.
In recent years, the district has maintained the organization of safe agricultural product fairs every quarter to introduce and promote clean, local agricultural products, especially products that have been recognized as 3-4 star OCOP. In particular, the district maintains the organization of safe agricultural product fairs combined with spring flower fairs on the occasion of Lunar New Year so that people can visit and shop for goods to use during Tet.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu - In charge of the booth displaying typical products of Hneng commune - informed: The safe agricultural product market is regularly organized by the district to promote and connect the consumption of local specialties and typical products with guaranteed quality.
Hneng commune alone participated in the fair to introduce clean agricultural products produced by the local people such as: J02 rice, fresh mushrooms, vegetables and fruits grown according to VietGAP standards. On the opening day of the fair, the commune's products such as J02 rice and fresh mushrooms sold very well, many people even ordered more.
Invited to participate in the safe agricultural products fair in Dak Doa district, Ms. Nguyen Thi Bich - Member of Kon Ha Nung Agricultural Cooperative (Dak Rong commune, Kbang district) excitedly said: The cooperative produces and processes the main products of coffee and macadamia nuts. In particular, macadamia nuts have been recognized as 3-star OCOP products, so they are very popular with consumers.
On the morning of January 19, the Cooperative sold 3 million VND worth of macadamia nuts alone. In the afternoon, we continued to bring the goods to the market to supply to consumers.

The market is a place to connect trade, promote the consumption of local agricultural products, increase value and competitiveness in the market.
Talking to reporters, Mr. Nguyen Kim Anh - Head of the District's Department of Agriculture and Rural Development - shared: In recent years, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development has coordinated with related units to organize safe agricultural product fairs to introduce and promote local OCOP-recognized products as well as the potential for clean, organic agricultural development.
Most products have the address of the production facility, ensuring food hygiene and safety standards, traceability stamps, etc. In addition, the district connects with neighboring localities to organize for entities with OCOP products to participate in the fair.
“In the coming time, the District Department of Agriculture and Rural Development will continue to coordinate with communes, towns and entities to survey and find local agricultural products to build stable raw material areas and deep processing to create clean, high-quality agricultural products that meet OCOP standards, thereby increasing product value and increasing income for people.
At the same time, proactively connect with trade promotion fairs inside and outside the province so that OCOP entities of the district can participate in promoting and introducing typical products to consumers" - Mr. Nguyen Kim Anh added.
