Sa Pa: Opening of Winter Festival and Stone Lotus Festival 2025

On October 25, the 2025 Sa Pa Winter Festival and the Stone Lotus Festival officially opened at An Nhien Garden - Cable Car Tourist Area (Sun World Fansipan Legend Sa Pa), opening a series of vibrant cultural, artistic and tourism activities lasting until early 2026.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, comrade Pham Tien Dung, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Sa Pa Ward, emphasized: Sa Pa - "the green pearl of the Northwest region" - is increasingly affirming its position as a leading destination for Vietnamese tourism . The Winter Festival is an annual activity to honor the beauty of nature, people and indigenous culture, promoting the image of "Sa Pa - a destination of five seasons, safe, friendly and full of life".

With the theme "Sa Pa - Winter Dance in the Source of Culture", this series of activities is expected to strongly promote Sa Pa tourism, stimulate tourism demand in the low season, contributing to the goal of developing tourism into a key economic sector of the locality...

Along with the opening of the Sa Pa Winter Festival 2025, the 2025 Stone Lotus Festival was also inaugurated and took place from October 25 to November 24 at the Cable Car Tourist Area (Sun World Fansipan Legend Sa Pa). The festival honors the rustic, resilient beauty of the typical Sa Pa tree, conveying the message of "peaceful flow".

Visitors can admire the vibrant visual art space with thousands of colors of succulents, check-in with unique miniature landscapes... Especially, at this second Succulent Festival, visitors also have the opportunity to participate in the "succulent growing" contest, sow a small seed of peace with their own hands, and create souvenirs to preserve their own moments of peace and tranquility.

The next series of events within the Sa Pa Winter Festival 2025 includes art shows such as “Thien” and “Dance under the Moon” (from November 7-15), “Sa Pa Forever” Mountain Bike Race (December 13-14, 2025), Setting a Sa Pa culinary record and Snow Festival (from December 20, 2025), along with the 2026 New Year Countdown Art Program and Welcoming the first tourist group in 2026, promising to bring many experiences to visitors when coming to Sa Pa.
