Salah is selfish and doesn't pass the ball.

Liverpool fans were angry with Mohamed Salah's controversial tackle in the 0-3 loss to Man City in round 11 of the Premier League early on November 10.

Salah's outrageous move.

In the 79th minute at the Etihad Stadium, as Liverpool tried to find a consolation goal, Salah broke free down the right wing, controlled the ball in a one-on-one situation with goalkeeper Donnarumma. But instead of passing it to Florian Wirtz, who was running in front of the goal, the Egyptian star chose to shoot and missed.

The Living Liverpool fanpage reposted the situation with the sarcastic comment: "Poor Florian Wirtz, he could have had 3-4 goals if Salah had passed the ball." The post quickly attracted hundreds of thousands of views, followed by a series of mixed comments.

Some defended Salah, saying he was being marked by defender Josko Gvardiol and didn't have enough time to watch. But the other side countered: "He controlled the ball, and had two teammates completely free at the far post."

Notably, this is not the first time Salah has been criticized for playing alone. Earlier this season, similar moves appeared in matches against Frankfurt and MU, causing many fans to complain about the number 11 player's ego.

With Wirtz yet to make a big impact, Salah's continued "holding the ball for too long" raises big questions about the coordination between Liverpool's two attacking stars. Was it just a moment of haste, or a sign of a bigger problem in the "The Kop" dressing room?

In the early morning of November 10, the reigning Premier League champions lost 0-3 to Man City. Defending champions Liverpool were pushed down to 8th place, behind MU due to scoring fewer goals (18 compared to 19).
