Strive to complete the new school year goals well

In the 2024-2025 school year, the entire provincial education sector has more than 13,500 cadres, teachers and staff. Of which, 4,373 are at the preschool level; 4,595 are at the primary level; 3,076 are at the secondary level; 1,507 are at the high school level, with 3,810 people still lacking. The whole province has 456 schools from preschool to high school with over 225,400 students. In terms of facilities, the rate of solid classrooms at all levels in the province reached 68%, an increase of 3% compared to the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year.

In the 2023-2024 school year, districts and cities have put into use 455 classrooms and subject classrooms; renovated and repaired 151 classrooms and subject classrooms; built 26 kitchens, 192 boarding rooms, and 56 auxiliary works; the Department of Education and Training has repaired classrooms and teachers' houses for 6 high schools to put into use in the 2024-2025 school year.

Teacher Nguyen Xuan Hung, Principal of Minh Thanh Secondary School (Son Duong) said that before the 2024-2025 school year, the school was invested by the Ministry of Public Security to build 2 2-storey buildings, 8 subject classrooms and 14 administrative management rooms, fully equipped with equipment worth over 17 billion VND. Along with that, Son Duong district invested in building and repairing 14 old classrooms and other auxiliary works with a budget of 2 billion VND.

Due to limited state investment capital, schools have increased the socialization of education to improve the quality and living and learning conditions of students. Teacher Hoang Thi Dau, Principal of Kim Binh Kindergarten (Chiem Hoa) said that in the past time, along with the investment of the State, the school has increased the mobilization of resources to renovate the school campus and classrooms, purchase more supplies and toys to gradually improve the quality of child care. In the new school year 2024 - 2025, the school has a total of 288 children, of which 223 are kindergarten children and 65 are nursery school children, the rate of mobilizing children to go to nursery school in the whole commune is over 48%.

In recent days, officials and teachers of schools in the province have cleaned, sanitized, and decorated school grounds, made homemade toys and supplies, decorated classrooms, sprayed disinfectants in schools and classrooms, etc., and at the same time, disseminated information to students, parents, and the public about the school year schedule and key tasks of the new school year.

Under the direction of the Department of Education and Training, the opening day of the school year on September 5 was organized in the spirit of thrift, efficiency, avoiding waste and ostentation, and ensuring disease prevention. At the same time, the Department also organized the deployment of new school year tasks to educational institutions in the province with the theme of the new school year 2024 - 2025 being "Discipline, responsibility, continuous innovation, quality improvement".

Focus on reviewing and arranging the network of schools and classrooms appropriately; building and planning a team of education managers and teachers at all levels to meet teaching requirements; ensuring the maintenance, preservation and improvement of universal education achievements at all levels, and effectively implementing the 2018 General Education Program.

Focus resources on investing in facilities and teaching equipment for schools in the area, prioritize funding for construction and repair of facilities, especially schools and school locations in extremely difficult areas, schools on the path to achieving national standards, increase the rate of schools meeting national standards at all levels...
