Ready to ensure security and medical care for the P4G Conference

Regarding the plan and implementation of security and safety for the conference, Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan, Chief of the Office of the Ministry of Public Security , said that P4G is the largest multilateral summit on green growth that Vietnam will host in the 2021-2026 period, with the participation of a number of heads of state and about 1,000 representatives of international organizations, scientists, scholars, experts... from many countries.

This is also one of the events and conferences that the Party and State have chosen to organize in Hanoi .

Ensuring absolute security and safety for the P4G Conference is of great political significance, contributing to the successful organization of the country's important foreign affairs event on the basis of compliance with international rules, practices and requirements. Therefore, the Ministry of Public Security identifies this as an important task for the entire People's Public Security force in the first 6 months of 2025.

With a proactive and positive spirit, aiming to create a safe and secure environment favorable for all activities of the P4G Conference, since the end of 2024, the Ministry of Public Security has issued a Master Plan on ensuring security and order for the conference.

The highest goal set by the Ministry of Public Security is: "To absolutely ensure security and safety for the event, to prevent sudden or unexpected events, and to prevent even the smallest mistakes from occurring."

Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan, Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security, spoke at the Security-Health Subcommittee/Security and Order Subcommittee Meeting of the 4th P4G Summit 2025.

Major General Nguyen Quoc Toan said that up to now, the basic tasks have ensured progress and quality of implementation, specifically, such as thoroughly implementing plans to review and closely assess the situation, strengthening the fight against sabotage plots of opposing elements and all types of criminals, and resolving risks that could harm the conference early, from afar, and from outside.

Develop and implement plans, arrangements, and specific force assignments to ensure security and safety for events and meetings taking place within the framework of the Conference.

Up to this point, it can be affirmed that all plans and solutions to ensure security and safety for the P4G Conference have been activated and implemented drastically and synchronously at the highest level commensurate with the scale and nature of the event to create the best security and safety environment for the successful organization of the conference.

Closely follow and specify security and safety plans for Party and State leaders and international delegates attending the conference. Concentrate forces and means to prioritize protection at the highest level, and assign officers to provide 24/7 security.

Strengthen network security and information security to ensure that the conference is not affected. Strengthen state management of fire prevention and fighting, ensure traffic order and safety, and welcome delegates safely, thoughtfully and respectfully. Strictly review personnel; do not allow activities that disrupt security and order and affect the conference.

In addition, based on the Conference Security and Health Plan and the Operating Regulations of the Security-Health Subcommittee, the Ministry of Public Security has promoted its role as a standing agency, clearly and specifically assigning tasks to each relevant agency, ministry, branch, and locality, such as the Ministry of National Defense, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, etc.

In particular, together with the Ministry of Health, coordinate with relevant agencies to develop and implement specific medical plans, from disease prevention and control to response capabilities, ensuring that all delegates and international guests always receive timely medical care, not only ensuring public health, but also contributing to the safety of the delegates attending.

The Ministry of Public Security will devote all its heart and effort to implementing measures to ensure absolute security and safety, contributing to the successful organization of the Conference, enhancing Vietnam's position and role in the international arena, attracting resources for national development in the new era, and the nation's rise, the Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security affirmed.
