Man United young star praised for asking referee not to award penalty to opponent

French referee Benoit Bastien took charge of the Europa League round of 16 second leg between Man United and Real Sociedad at Old Trafford.

He blew three penalties in 90 minutes, with one for Real Sociedad and two for Man United. In this match, Man United won 4-1 to qualify for the quarter-finals.

There was a very fair-play situation that happened in the final minutes of the match, when Mr. Benoit Bastien thought that Hamari Traore (Real Sociedad) fouled Patrick Dorgu in the penalty area and intended to give another penalty to Man United.

Danish defender Patrick Dorgu previously played two seasons for Lecce in Serie A , making 57 appearances and scoring five goals.

Patrick Dorgu moved to Man United for £25m in early February this year and has so far made five appearances in all competitions.
