Upcoming seminar 'Youth of Industry and Trade: 74 years of development and future orientation'

In order to practically celebrate the 74th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam Industry and Trade sector (May 14, 1951 - May 14, 2025), the Industry and Trade Newspaper in coordination with the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the National Electricity System and Market Operation Company Limited (NSMO) organized a talk show with the theme: "Youth of the Industry and Trade sector: 74 years of development and future orientation" .

The program will take place on the morning of May 9, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, with the participation of representatives of the Ministry's leaders, leaders of affiliated units, and a large number of union members and young people.

The seminar "Youth of Industry and Trade: 74 years of development and future orientation" will take place on May 9.

This is a key activity in the 2025 youth union and movement program with the goal of arousing the pioneering spirit, creativity and social responsibility of the young generation in the industry in the face of new requirements of the digital age and deep international integration.

The seminar was held to look back on the 74-year development of the Industry and Trade sector, thereby clarifying the role and contribution of the Industry and Trade youth force in the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country.

In particular, in the context that the Industry and Trade sector is actively promoting the application of science - technology and innovation in accordance with Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, the seminar aims to orient innovative thinking, improve adaptability and the ability to proactively seize opportunities in the era of digital transformation, green economy and deep integration.

At the same time, it contributes to expanding awareness of the development trend of artificial intelligence (AI), the impact of AI on areas such as economics,education , technology and management. This is an initial preparation step, creating a foundation for union members and young people in the Industry and Trade sector to be ready to approach AI technology more deeply in the specialized programs expected to be deployed in the near future.

The program will include speeches, presentations and discussions revolving around major and prominent topics such as: Overview of 74 years of development of the youth force in the Industry and Trade sector; Leadership role and orientation of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in building a team of young cadres with political courage, digital capacity and integration mindset; Application of AI, digital technology and innovation in industry and e-commerce in the direction of Resolution 57-NQ/TW; Analysis of opportunities and challenges for youth in the Industry and Trade sector in the integration and digital transformation period; Experience in deploying AI in management and operation of the national power system.

Through the discussion, the Youth Union of the Ministry of Industry and Trade hopes that each member will clearly identify their personal role and mission in the process of performing professional tasks, contributing to building a new production force, modernizing industrial and commercial infrastructure, and spreading the aspiration to serve the country with knowledge, technology and innovation.
