Provincial People's Council delegates voted to pass the Resolution on reorganizing Tra Vinh Provincial Inspectorate at the 23rd Session (special session) held on May 30.
Pursuant to Conclusion No. 134-KL/TW dated March 28, 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the Project to reorganize the inspection agency system to be streamlined, strong, effective, efficient and effective; Decision No. 755/QD-TTG dated April 13, 2025 of the Prime Minister promulgating the plan to implement the Conclusion of the Politburo and the Secretariat on the Project to reorganize the inspection agency system to be streamlined, strong, effective, efficient and effective, at the 23rd Session (special session) held on May 30, 2025, the People's Committee of Tra Vinh province submitted to the Provincial People's Council for consideration and decision on the reorganization of the Provincial Inspectorate. The session voted and unanimously approved the content of the report.
According to the Project developed by the Provincial People's Committee and Report No. 2694/TTr-UBND, dated May 16, 2025 of the Provincial People's Committee on the reorganization of Tra Vinh Provincial Inspectorate, approved by the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial Inspectorate is reorganized in a centralized and unified direction, transferring all functions and tasks of 10 Department-level Inspectorates and 09 District-level Inspectorates into a single focal point - the Provincial Inspectorate. The new apparatus of the Provincial Inspectorate includes: the leadership of the Provincial Inspectorate with the Chief Inspector and Deputy Chief Inspectors of the province, the office and specialized and professional departments, fully performing the functions of inspection, receiving citizens, handling complaints and denunciations; preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity throughout the province according to the provisions of law.
This arrangement helps reduce 100% of the number of inspection units at the department and district levels, significantly saving intermediate management personnel, and improving operational efficiency. After the reorganization, the Provincial Inspectorate has a total of 120 civil servant positions arranged and assigned, including the Provincial Inspectorate leadership and 09 specialized and professional departments: Office; Department of Inspection, Complaints and Denunciations Settlement 1; Department of Inspection, Complaints and Denunciations Settlement 2; Department of Inspection, Complaints and Denunciations Settlement 3; Department of Inspection, Complaints and Denunciations Settlement of Specialized Departments 1; Department of Inspection, Complaints and Denunciations Settlement of Specialized Departments 2; Department of Inspection, Complaints and Denunciations Settlement of Specialized Departments 3; Department of Prevention and Combat of Corruption, Wastefulness, and Negativity; Department of Supervision, Appraisal, Monitoring, Urging and Post-Inspection Handling; each department is assigned from 07 to 15 positions.
The new model is designed in accordance with the Central's orientation according to Conclusion No. 134-KL/TW of the Politburo, the Secretariat and Decision No. 755/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister , ensuring proactiveness, professionalism and enhancing the effectiveness of state management in the inspection field. The process of arranging the provincial inspection agency system was carried out carefully, in accordance with regulations, ensuring the legitimate rights of cadres and civil servants, while not disrupting the professional activities of the industry.
