Sharing with TG&VN, curator Van Vi said that art in general, and painting in particular, is a place to stop, a resting place - a place where people can slow down, enjoy and experience each change in their own feelings.
Accordingly, the exhibition "Art is long, time is short" has 6 separate areas, viewers will enjoy the art of each artist through different spaces.
The exhibition is organized in a diverse selection of materials from lacquer, silk, oil, acrylic with many artistic styles. The connection lies in the curator's spatial arrangement ideas, taking viewers through the levels of different imaginations.
With artist Phan Cam Thuong, the exhibition displays a series of silk paintings with the theme of ancient Vietnamese culture. More special is his abstract paintings.
Meanwhile, "Living Area" by artist Nguyen Van Trinh is a series of paintings that has been evaluated as creative in both aspects of theme and material.
According to Van Vi, the multi-dimensional "Living Area" is suspended with many strange creatures inside, on silk material combined with giang paper, giving layered effects when viewed.
Two artists, Trieu Khac Tien and Vu Van Tich, contributed to the exhibition a series of lacquer paintings. It is known that Trieu Khac Tien is the only doctor in lacquer practice in Vietnam. Vu Van Tich is Mr. Tien's student with works that preserve the emotions and express the aspirations of youth.

With Nguyen Quang Trung, he expresses an abstract style. His paintings use the "light confinement technique" - allowing to preserve moments that are both present and receding, through which one can see the constant movement of lines and colors.
Presented at the exhibition, Nguyen Dinh Son's expressionist paintings, exploring themes such as coastal life or changes in suburban areas, show a focus on vibrations and close-up perspectives.
Looking at Nguyen Dinh Son's paintings, you will see that when you listen and observe everything carefully through your emotions, each small aspect opens up a colorful world .
