The commodity market has been vibrant since the beginning of the year, with high demand for shopping, and the consumer price index increasing by 3.78% over the same period in 2024. Since the beginning of the year, the Provincial Steering Committee 389 has requested its member sectors and functional forces of districts, towns and cities to promptly implement the directives of the Prime Minister , the National Steering Committee 389, ministries, central agencies and provincial People's Committees in the fight against smuggling, banned goods, production and trade of counterfeit goods, poor quality goods, goods that do not ensure food hygiene and safety, and illegal business activities.
The authorities have strengthened inspection, control and combat against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods. Since the beginning of the year, the authorities have detected, arrested and handled 285 cases/288 subjects. Of which, 269 cases were administratively sanctioned, the total amount paid to the state budget was nearly 2.5 billion VND, the value of the violated goods was over 986 million VND and 16 cases/19 subjects were prosecuted. In addition, the authorities have focused on disseminating the law, raising awareness of organizations, individuals engaged in commercial activities and consumers in complying with the provisions of the law.
Since the beginning of the year, the provincial Market Management Department has inspected and examined 181 cases, handled 148 violations, collected over VND822 million for the budget, and confiscated and destroyed over VND440 million of goods. In addition to inspecting and handling violations, the provincial market management force organized the signing of commitments for production and business establishments in the area not to trade in prohibited, counterfeit, and poor-quality goods, and strictly handled cases that had signed commitments but still violated. Coordinated with media agencies, promptly provided information related to inspection and handling activities of the market management force, in order to deter and create consensus in society to fight against smuggling, trade fraud, and counterfeit goods in the whole province.

For imported goods, I buy items with full stamps and labels, including information about product ingredients, origin and source clearly shown.
To combat and prevent smuggling and trade fraud, the Provincial Steering Committee 389 continues to direct the synchronous and drastic implementation of solutions, strengthen specialized inspections, and strictly handle the trading of goods that violate the law. At the same time, establish an effective feedback channel from consumers, build a healthy business environment, protect people's rights, and develop the entire province's economy .
