Supermodel Ngoc Quyen: I have to give up all my pride to live

Ngoc Quyen said that when she first came to America, she was willing to do cleaning and sales jobs to earn money and no longer cared that she was a famous supermodel in Vietnam.

Ngoc Quyen was born in 1988 and was a famous supermodel in the Vietnamese fashion industry from 2005 to 2013. Besides being a sought-after model, Ngoc Quyen is also highly regarded in the film industry. Ngoc Quyen has appeared in films such as Wild Sunflower, Tangled Hair Girl, Beauty Scheme, Mother-in-law... After divorcing a Vietnamese-American doctor, Ngoc Quyen found happiness with her new boyfriend and enjoyed a peaceful life in America.

Confiding in Thanh Nien, the 36-year-old supermodel said: "When I started my new job, I saw my own weaknesses and had to overcome them. Pride doesn't bring me any money. When I started working in Phuoc Loc Tho area, at least I had money to cover my living expenses, so I completely abandoned my pride. From then on, I approached customers and understood what they wanted and needed."

"Many people wonder why I don't continue to perform in the US, but I'm realistic. I know I can't compete in the US market. The Vietnamese market in the US is too small for me to develop my art. Besides, I couldn't apply for a job in supermarkets because my English was so bad at that time. So I accepted a sales job at a small store," the actress of the movie Mother-in-law confided.
