Visiting the models of growing medicinal herbs, vegetables, fruit trees... we saw that the models not only developed in scale and quantity but also applied science and technology in production. Production land was planned; people invested in greenhouses and automatic irrigation systems. The models created jobs for many local workers, contributing to changing people's lives, this is also a new step in sustainable poverty reduction.

Sin Ho commune has 27 villages and hamlets with 2,784 households of Mong and Dao ethnic groups. People mainly live on agricultural production. To improve people's lives, in addition to promoting propaganda and mobilizing people to change their awareness, focusing on economic development, hunger eradication and poverty reduction; the commune actively coordinates with functional agencies to open vocational training classes, helping people access science and technology; support people to borrow capital, plants, seeds, production tools; put agricultural products on e-commerce platforms... For crops suitable to the local climate, with high yield and good quality... the commune mobilizes people to increase the planting area; invites businesses and organizations to invest; expands the market, and finds outlets for products. In addition, the commune also effectively implements national target programs, contributing to improving people's lives.

Currently, people in the commune are actively intensifying crop cultivation; introducing high-quality corn and rice varieties into production. In addition, people have also improved the land to grow more medicinal herbs: Lai Chau ginseng, angelica, and ginseng (313.5 hectares); various vegetables (78 hectares); 115 hectares of fruit trees (pears, plums, and peaches). The commune's agricultural products are favored by consumers inside and outside the province. Especially ginseng, people not only consume locally through traditional sales methods but have also innovated the way of consumption by livestreaming at the production site. From mid-October until now, people have consumed nearly 400 tons. People's lives have improved, and the face of the countryside has gradually changed.

Sa De Phin villagers increase income from livestock farming.

In addition, taking advantage, people in the commune develop tea trees. The commune plans a favorable land area for growing 86.6 hectares of tea, including nearly 8 hectares of ancient tea trees in Sa De Phin village. This is a perennial tree, with a higher selling price than other types of tea. Not only that, people here also promote the ancient tea hills as a tourist destination, contributing to increasing people's income. Tea trees are invested in and developed, bringing in an annual income of 35-40 million VND/ha.

In addition, the commune also promotes livestock development, builds farm models, and raises them scientifically. The livestock herd has grown rapidly in number with 6,318 cattle and nearly 32,000 poultry. Up to now, the commune also has 10 3-star ocop products.

People in village 5 plant and expand the area of angelica trees.

Not only promoting the local internal strength, the commune also promotes labor export, mobilizing people to participate in labor at companies and factories inside and outside the province with more than 200 people, of which 3 people are exported to work in Korea.

Taking advantage of the Da O mountain, ancient tea hills, Cat Chua Sy waterfall, Nam Luc waterfall; resort and health care services such as Dao ethnic herbal baths... the commune promotes tourism development through promotion and introduction. Since the beginning of the year, Sin Ho commune has welcomed nearly 22,000 tourists to visit and explore. Thereby contributing to creating more jobs for local people.

The difficult area has gradually changed, people's lives have improved, the poverty rate has decreased to 22.77%, the average income has reached 40 million VND/person/year. We believe that with the drastic measures of the local Party Committee, government and the determination of the people, the remote area of Sin Ho will develop more and more.
