What do students need to prepare before graduating to avoid unemployment?

Becoming an employee of one of the leading corporations in Vietnam is the dream of thousands of students after graduation. Statistics from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs show that more than 8,600 businesses in Vietnam have had to cut staff since the beginning of this year. Tu has surpassed many candidates in the interview rounds thanks to his impressive achievements after his internship at the company. This excellent result comes from the scientific training program at Fulbright University Vietnam, which has opened up and equipped him with the necessary knowledge to confidently demonstrate his abilities.

"The Principle of Economics course helped me hone my problem-solving skills - the most important skill in the consulting industry," Tu shared . "With a series of reasonable solutions proposed thanks to the ability to analyze interdisciplinary fields from STEM to economics and society that I regularly practice in school classes, I convinced the interview board," Tu added.

Through a system of exercises that emphasize the initiative and creativity of the performer, students like Tu not only master important knowledge of macroeconomics but also know how to make plans and find ways to realize those plans. The entire process is consulted, supervised and evaluated by consultants from the world's leading business strategy consulting group McKinsey.

Launch pad for young talent

In addition to Ly Minh Tu, Phan Canh Minh Phuoc has also continued his success in the Fulbright training system by becoming the first student of the school to enroll in the young team of Boston Consulting Group (BCG), a global strategy consulting group from the UK.

Phuoc was an intern at ZaloPay thanks to the strategic relationship between Fulbright and VNG Corporation. This was a great opportunity for the young student to work directly with senior managers at many corporations in the US and learn more problem-solving skills that are being applied in developed countries around the world.

With the experience of working with lecturers to build the first "Product Development" class at Fulbright, Phuoc has practiced the philosophy of helping each other and sharing knowledge (mentorship) in the ZaloPay community. The male student has worked with senior management to design the first data analysis training course for corporate employees and participated in training interns.

After more than a year of working, success smiled on Phuoc when he was honored to become the youngest feature development team leader at VNG Corporation and then a new employee of BCG.
