Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training pays special attention to preschool, grade 1 and grade 6 enrollment.

The Departmentof Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has just sent a document to the Steering Committee for Primary Enrollment of Thu Duc City and districts regarding the implementation of preschool, grade 1, and grade 6 enrollment from now until the date of announcement of results.

Specifically, the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City requested localities to urgently review and seriously implement the unified use and synchronization of information on primary school enrollment on the data axis of the education and training sector at the address: https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn; not to notify or require people to submit paper documents during the registration period, except for cases of submitting to the school upon enrollment.

At the same time, review data, notify parents to urgently go to the primary school admissions page to check, confirm information, choose participating localities, register for admission, and complete by June 23. District 8, Tan Binh District, Thu Duc City will enroll students according to the GIS map as previously registered.

Localities are not allowed to require people to submit paper applications when registering for primary school admission.

From June 6 to 23 is the official period, the entire system of primary school admission information is updated; parents check, review information and register for admission. Parents and students must complete the following 5 steps:

- Learn about schools, first-level classes, etc. on mass media, electronic information portals of educational institutions, local first-level enrollment plans, and on official information and communication channels of the education and training sector.

- Access the primary school admission system using the identification code and date of birth registered with local authorities as well as educational institutions at: https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn

- Check and review student data information. The following cases may occur: There is an error in the information - parents and students must contact the Department of Education and Training or the local school to make adjustments; the information is correct - parents and students choose 1 locality (district, county, Thu Duc City) to register for enrollment.

In which, the localities participating in enrollment are divided into 3 types: by permanent address, by temporary residence, by school. The online enrollment system will automatically calculate the 3 types of localities based on the stored enrollment data. If type 2 and type 3 are selected, the enrollment steering committee of the localities will prioritize receiving enough students in the list allocated according to the plan to mobilize children to class and enroll them in the first grade classes of the People's Committee of Thu Duc City and districts, then consider the remaining cases.

When clicking to confirm that the information and data of students registering for admission on the system have been checked and reviewed, parents and students will have 24 hours to think, consider carefully and make adjustments. After this time, the system will be locked and cannot be adjusted.

From July 20, see admission results

From July 20 to August 1: Parents and students can access the primary school admissions page to view results (this time may change depending on the actual situation of the local primary school admissions plan).

If parents agree with the admission results, they need to confirm their admission on the online admission system, then submit a paper application to the school they have been admitted to.

In case of disagreement with the admission results, parents and students can register for admission in the second round according to the plan to mobilize children to attend classes and enroll them in the local primary classes, online at: https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn.
