All first-year students must register for admission during the official period from May 15 to 19 to ensure a place in school.

According to Mr. Nguyen Bao Quoc, all primary school students must register for admission during the official period from May 15 to 19 to ensure the rights of candidates. In case they are not admitted to advanced and special schools, Thu Duc City and other localities will still arrange them to attend other schools according to the information registered during the period from May 15 to 19.

In response to parents' questions, if they are not admitted to an advanced, special school, which school will the candidate be assigned to? The leader of the City Department of Education and Training said that the candidates will be assigned to schools by localities according to the plan based on the initial choice that the candidates registered for from May 15 to May 19. However, it should be noted that the assignment to which school depends on the actual situation of the locality. The allocation of students will be decided by localities based on the actual situation in the locality. The Department of Education and Training does not interfere or involve itself in the allocation of students by localities.

According to the City Department of Education and Training, if students do not register during the official period from May 15 to May 19, they will not be guaranteed a place at regular schools if they are not admitted to advanced or special schools. This may result in having to move around multiple times and cause difficulties in the school placement process.
