Nghe An Department of Science and Technology supports and shares with people affected by storm No. 3

On July 24, the Department of Science and Technology (KH&CN) of Nghe An province organized a fundraising ceremony to support people affected by storm No. 3 (Wipha).

Responding to the call of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province to support people affected by the circulation of storm No. 3 Wipha, speaking at the donation ceremony, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Nghe An Nguyen Quy Linh emphasized the sense of responsibility and sharing of all cadres, civil servants and workers in the industry, in the face of serious damage caused by the circulation of storm No. 3; at the same time, calling on agencies, units, businesses and people in the area to join hands to support people in flood-affected areas to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives.

At the ceremony, officials, civil servants and employees of the Department of Science and Technology contributed more than 55 million VND. In particular, 67 enterprises trading in gold, jewelry and fine arts in the province donated a total of more than 189 million VND. The entire amount was transferred to the receiving account of the Nghe An Provincial Relief Committee to provide emergency support to affected areas./.
