From April 17 to May 7, Ho Chi Minh City National University opened the registration portal for the second round of the 2025 capacity assessment exam.
Accordingly, the total number of candidates registered up to now is 97,121 candidates. Candidates will have to complete the payment of exam fees by May 8.
In 2025, the second round of the exam will be held on June 1 in 11 provinces and cities: Hue City, Binh Dinh, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Lam Dong, Dong Nai, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Tien Giang, An Giang and Ho Chi Minh City.
The results of the second round of exams are expected to be announced on June 16. If candidates take both rounds of exams, the higher result will be used for admission consideration.

Previously, Ho Chi Minh City National University announced the results of the first round of competency assessment exams. In this round, the average score of candidates was 618.4 points, 142 candidates scored more than 1,000 points, the candidate with the highest score was 1,060 points.
Currently, more than 110educational institutions have registered to use the results of the competency assessment exam organized by Ho Chi Minh City National University to consider student admission for their units.
