Dong Nai Department of Construction must 'sprint' to carry out tasks, not wait until the end of the year

According to Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha, 2025 is identified by the province as the year of transport infrastructure. Therefore, the Department of Construction must soon report to the Provincial People's Committee on the necessary conditions to start construction of transport infrastructure projects such as: Ma Da Bridge; elevated road along National Highway 51; Rural Road 2, Section 2... Along with that, develop a plan and direction for implementing the maintenance and repair of national highways that have been handed over to the province for management.

The Department of Construction also needs to “restart” and coordinate with localities to implement Directive No. 23 of the Provincial People’s Committee on urban beautification. There must be solutions to deal with flooding when it rains, traffic congestion and speed up planning work. Emphasizing the importance of following reality in implementing tasks, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee also requested the Department of Construction to mobilize strength from the grassroots, taking the goal of serving people and businesses as the top priority.

At the meeting, the Department of Construction reported on a number of key tasks that the industry will implement in the coming time, such as: proactively working with investors to introduce projects, inviting investors to study and implement traffic projects in the form of public-private partnerships; studying and proposing to the Provincial People's Committee solutions to organize traffic at intersections in Bien Hoa city, and handling traffic congestion at intersections.

In particular, the specific tasks that the Department of Construction aims to complete early are to complete the proposal documents for the Project to build an underground pipeline supplying Jet - A1 fuel from Go Dau port to the boundary of Long Thanh Airport; work with the functional agencies of Ho Chi Minh City to complete the implementation plan so that the leaders of the two localities can sign the implementation plan for the projects of Cat Lai bridge, Dong Nai 2 bridge, Phu My 2 bridge; work with the Railway Project Management Board to hand over the boundary of the site clearance for the North - South high-speed railway project; inspect and urge the construction progress of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway project, Ring Road 3 - Ho Chi Minh City; further study the route plan of the Long Thanh Waterway Project.
