Exciting stage 2 of the quiz contest to learn about 80 years of the Vietnamese National Assembly

On the evening of November 4, the fourth week broadcast, stage 2, of the online interactive quiz contest "Learning about the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly" took place. Vice Chairman of the Committee for Culture and Society Ta Van Ha monitored and encouraged the contest participants at the Military Technical Academy, Hanoi.

Also attending at the Military Technical Academy bridge were: Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairman of the Central Youth Union Council Nguyen Pham Duy Trang; Colonel Tran Huu Dung - Deputy Head of the Military Youth Department... along with a large number of students from the Military Technical Academy, the People's Police Academy, and members of the Hanoi Youth Union.

The online interactive quiz contest “Learning about the 80th anniversary of the first general election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly” is a meaningful political activity, chaired by the Committee for Culture and Society, in coordination with the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the Office of the National Assembly. The contest is implemented in two stages.

Stage 1 is a multiple choice test on the “Thanh Nien Viet Nam” application and the website thitructuyen.doanthanhnien.vn. Stage 2 is broadcast live on Facebook at the following addresses: “Central Youth Union Electronic Information Portal”, “Central Youth Union Propaganda Department”.

In stage 2, players interact with the host and answer questions directly during the live broadcast in the form of comments choosing the correct option. This is a modern, creative competition format, close to young people, suitable for the digital media trend in the new era.

Speaking to encourage the participants in the second stage of the competition, Vice Chairman of the Committee for Culture and Society Ta Van Ha emphasized, “This is a meaningful political and social activity, contributing to spreading national pride, patriotism, legal awareness and civic responsibility among today’s young generation of Vietnam. In particular, this is also an activity in response to Vietnam Law Day on November 9”.

With the theme “National Assembly Deputies and Voters’ Right to Participate” in the fourth week’s broadcast, Deputy Chairman Ta Van Ha said this is an opportunity for every Vietnamese person, especially union members, youth, and students, to understand more deeply the sacred relationship between the People and the National Assembly - the highest representative body of the People, the highest state power body.

“This is not only theoretical knowledge, but also a story of civic responsibility and the consciousness of being the master of the country. Through this topic, we have the opportunity to better understand the role, tasks, mettle and qualities of National Assembly deputies; at the same time, fully recognize the right of voters to participate in choosing, supervising, accompanying and contributing to the activities of the National Assembly,” Deputy Chairman Ta Van Ha emphasized.

On behalf of the Committee on Culture and Society, Vice Chairman Ta Van Ha acknowledged and commended the close and effective coordination between the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and the agencies of the National Assembly, along with the active participation of press and media agencies, provincial/municipal unions and affiliated unions. Especially the active participation of union members of the armed forces (National Defense and Public Security). "It is that spirit of coordination that has created a strong influence for the Contest, bringing the spirit of Understanding the National Assembly - Loving the Fatherland - Living responsibly " to a large number of union members and youth at home and abroad."

Briefly reporting the results of the contest, Deputy Head of the Youth Union Affairs Department, Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Nguyen Thai An said that as of November 1, 2025, the results recorded on the "Vietnamese Youth" application had 756,745 candidates participating with 1,809,369 exams; on the website thitructuyen.doanthanhnien.vn, there were 1,275,259 candidates participating with 5,338,072 exams. In total, on both platforms, there were 2,032,004 candidates participating with 7,147,441 exams. Some participating units responded positively and had good results in stage 1, including: Hung Yen, Ha Tinh, National Assembly Youth Union, Fatherland Front Youth Union, Central organizations, Lao Cai.
Stage 2 has 8 weeks of competition. The first 4 broadcasts have attracted more than 950 thousand views, access, interactions, and comments. Some units that participated actively include: Military Youth Union, Nghe An, Quang Tri, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa.
