Exciting fire fighting and rescue competition "Fire safety inter-family group"

(Portal) On May 26, 2024, at the Provincial Cinema and Cultural Center, the Provincial People's Committee organized a firefighting and rescue competition "Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Inter-family Team" in Quang Tri province in 2024. Attending the event was Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong.

This competition gathered 10 teams of "Fire Safety Inter-family Teams" from 9 districts, towns and cities ( each district-level unit selected 1 Team to participate, Dong Ha City selected 2 Teams to participate, Con Co island district did not participate because it did not have a "Fire Safety Inter-family Team"), each team had 13 members participating.

The contest consists of two parts: Theory (answering questions about fire prevention and fighting knowledge) and practice (fire fighting and fighting for houses combined with production and business). The team with the best results will represent the Fire Prevention and Fighting Teams in the province to participate in the regional round held in Quy Nhon city, Binh Dinh province.

The contest is an opportunity for competition, competition, exchange and learning between athletes who are Fire Safety Inter-family Teams to improve techniques and personal tactics for each athlete who will later return to work at the base, living in the area where they live, and become the core in Fire Prevention and Rescue work.

Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong presented flowers and souvenir flags to the teams participating in the competition.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded the First Prize to Gio Linh District; Second Prize to Trieu Phong and Huong Hoa Districts; Third Prize to Vinh Linh, Hai Lang and Dong Ha 2 City; Encouragement Prize to Cam Lo, Dakrong, Quang Tri Town and Dong Ha 1 City.

In his closing speech, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong suggested that immediately after the conference, relevant agencies and localities continue to pay more attention and invest more in fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue work, fully equip fire prevention and fighting equipment and vehicles for the local fire safety inter-family teams to promptly handle fire and explosion incidents and rescue victims as soon as they arise.

Strengthening propaganda to raise awareness and responsibility of people in fire prevention and fighting and rescue work; promoting the responsibility of Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Steering Committees at all levels, perfecting the fire prevention and fighting force with strong organization and solid expertise to fulfill assigned tasks. Regularly organizing training and exchanging experiences between inter-family groups to raise awareness of fire prevention and fighting and rescue work; improving skills and ability to handle situations that arise.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 9 groups and 9 individuals; the Provincial Police Director awarded certificates of merit to 6 groups and 8 individuals with achievements in successfully organizing the fire fighting and rescue competition "Fire Prevention and Fighting Safety Inter-family Group" of Quang Tri province in 2024.
