Exciting "Border Colors" Art Festival

Colonel Le Hoang Viet (Deputy Political Commissar of An Giang Provincial Border Guard); Deputy Director of An Giang Provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Thi Nhu Lam; Vice Chairman of Tri Ton District People's Committee Vo Thanh Tuan attended.

The festival was attended by 5 units: Chau Doc City, Tan Chau Town, Tinh Bien Town, Tri Ton District and An Phu District. Each unit formed a team consisting of cadres, civil servants, public employees, people, students and officers and soldiers of units under the provincial border guard. Each team participated in 3 competitions including: Performing costumes of 4 ethnic groups Kinh, Hoa, Cham, Khmer; performing folk arts of 4 ethnic groups such as Cham dance, Sa Dam drum dance, Rap Pa Na drum, dance recreating the traditional craft of mi gia of Chau Doc's Hoa ethnic group; performing 1 art performance praising the border guard force and Vietnamese cultural traditions.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded 8 A prizes and 7 B prizes for excellent performances and acts performed at the festival.

Activities to maintain cultural and artistic movements in border areas and among officers and soldiers of the Border Guard. On that basis, contributing to promoting and improving the effectiveness of cultural, sports, tourism and family activities; enhancing the level of cultural and artistic enjoyment among the people; building and consolidating the great solidarity bloc between ethnic minorities in the border areas of An Giang province and the Border Guard force. At the same time, promoting the role of the people in preserving traditional cultural values ​​associated with sustainable cultural tourism development.
