Speaking at the opening ceremony of the festival, President of the Ba Dinh District Women's Union Dinh Thi Phuong Lien said: The festival is a practical celebration of the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025); towards the activities of the Month of Action for Children in 2025 and the celebration of Vietnamese Family Day on June 28.
Studying President Ho Chi Minh's ideology on building a prosperous and happy country on par with the world powers, the Women's Union at all levels has set many tasks: To have a prosperous and happy country, there must be every family, every social community, and every school that is happy. To do that, every family member must be happy, and many children must be happy.

In order for each family and each member to be healthy both physically and mentally, and to push back the risk of violence, each person must take positive action to prevent violence in the family; each member needs to unite, love each other, and actively participate in healthy, cohesive collective activities...
“The festival “ Sports for family happiness - No violence” with the desire to convey the message of happy family, peaceful students, happy school. Many happy families will have many happy schools for the whole society to be happy, the nation to be happy, thereby pushing back violence, no war”, said Ms. Dinh Thi Phuong Lien.

At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 31 gifts to children who have overcome difficulties to excel in their studies; sponsored 5 orphans in difficult circumstances in the last 6 months of 2025.

Right after the opening ceremony, 500 cadres, women's union members, teachers, parents and students participated in exciting and attractive games such as: Tug of war, ring tossing, transporting the "Golden Egg" ball... Through these fun activities, the bond between family members, between family and school was further promoted.

Participating in the festival, Ms. Tran Bich Ngoc, parent of a student in class 7A8, Nguyen Cong Tru Secondary School, shared: “The festival is not only an interesting and useful playground, but also helps children develop physical fitness.
