Exciting competition to welcome the Congress

In response to the peak emulation campaign and achievements to welcome the 15th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Bac Giang province, the Fatherland Front Committees of districts and towns in the province have had many good models and good practices widely deployed among all classes of people. Typically, in Luc Ngan district, since March 2024, the Fatherland Front Committee of the district has selected the project of installing a residential lighting system as part of the work to welcome the Congress. This is a practical work to implement the urban development policy, completing the criteria and standards of a type IV urban area for the expanded Chu urban area.

Sharing this issue, Mr. Le Xuan Thang - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Luc Ngan district said that the Fatherland Front at all levels has focused on propaganda, mobilizing resources to support and socialize the installation of lighting systems in residential areas. This ensures that more than 90% of main roads, alleys and residential areas in the Chu expanded urban planning area have electricity. Up to now, the Fatherland Front of communes and towns has mobilized people to contribute more than 1.94 billion VND, installing more than 107.3km of traffic lights.

With the motto of "mobilizing people to care for people", the Fatherland Front of Bac Giang province has directed the Fatherland Front at district and commune levels to select practical works and tasks that meet the needs of the people. Therefore, from the beginning of 2024 to now, the whole province has had more than 2,600 works and tasks mobilized by the Fatherland Front at all levels to mobilize people to participate in such as: Building Great Unity houses; building rural roads; cleaning village roads, alleys...

Mobilizing the construction of Great Solidarity houses for poor households is one of the key contents of the projects and tasks to welcome the Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Bac Giang province, which districts, towns and cities have registered to implement. In 2024, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province have registered to mobilize the elimination of 1,217 temporary and dilapidated houses. To date, the whole province has handed over 629 houses and is under construction of 329 houses.

Mr. Tran Cong Thang - Chairman of the Fatherland Front Committee of Bac Giang province said that each project and part of the work is urged and supervised by the Fatherland Front at all levels to be implemented on schedule, ensuring quality, contributing to the implementation of socio-economic development targets, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas. This work has received the consensus, response and high appreciation of all classes of people.

According to Mr. Thang, the main experience in effectively implementing these tasks is that the Fatherland Front Committees of districts, towns and cities promote propaganda so that people thoroughly understand the purpose and significance of each specific project and task; promote the pioneering role of cadres and party members; perform well the supervisory function; ensure publicity and transparency, creating trust for people to actively respond.

“Promoting the role of a bridge between the Party Committee, the government and the people, in the coming time, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels in the province will continue to grasp the situation, innovate, improve the effectiveness of propaganda, mobilization, gathering people of all walks of life, promoting the strength of the great national solidarity bloc to participate in socio-economic development. In particular, focusing on propaganda, mobilizing people to compete in studying, working creatively, uniting to build new rural areas, civilized urban areas, prioritizing resources to support housing for poor households, near-poor households, and policy families” - Mr. Thang said.
