Leaders and commanders of the Port Company (Northeast Corporation) held a meeting to discuss and implement measures to complete production tasks for the second quarter of 2025.

At the Port Company (Northeast Corporation), a high-intensity emulation campaign titled "Rapid - Decisive Victory" was launched from March 1st to May 19th, linked to key political and business production tasks for 2025. Colonel Hoang Hong Quang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Port Company, affirmed: Building on the glorious revolutionary tradition, every cadre, worker, employee, and laborer always upholds the spirit of patriotism, love for the industry, unity, creativity, overcoming all difficulties and challenges, striving to excellently complete all tasks, contributing to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland.

The movement focuses on raising awareness, responsibility, and determination among cadres and workers; comprehensively and exceeding production and business targets for the first six months of the year; ensuring stable employment, sustainable income, and an increasingly improved quality of life for employees. Alongside this, the company also emphasizes building a professional unit, strictly adhering to military discipline, promoting administrative reform, modernizing management, and comprehensively implementing digital transformation.

Every official, Party member, and worker in the Port Company is striving to compete in labor and production, aiming to complete the 2025 production plan with the goal of extracting 4.6 million tons of coal - a figure that clearly demonstrates the determination and internal strength of the unit.

Captain Bui Van Hung, Foreman of Workshop 3, Port Company, shared: The emulation movement has been concretized by the workshop through many practical activities such as organizing regular technical workshops, encouraging workers to propose technical improvement initiatives, improving product quality, and increasing labor productivity. Currently, the staff and workers at the workshop are proficiently and efficiently operating modern conveyor systems and high-tech washing and sorting lines, meeting the requirements of modern production.

The staff and workers of the Mining Company proactively research initiatives, improve techniques, and master equipment, contributing to the successful completion of the unit's production and business tasks.

At the Mining Company, the emulation movement is implemented comprehensively with the spirit of "Proactiveness - Self-reliance - Creativity - Responsibility". The company put into operation a washing and deep processing system with a capacity of 300 tons/hour from April 5, 2025, contributing to increasing the coal recovery rate, improving the quality of coal produced, and meeting the increasingly high demands of the market. Besides production tasks, the company pays special attention to improving working conditions and caring for the lives of its employees. A practical project is the canteen at Work Site 1, Dong Da Mai mine, with a capacity to serve 350-450 meals/day, inaugurated on April 6, 2025, contributing to improving the health and morale of the mine workers.

Not only at the Port Company and the Mining Company, but the emulation movement is spreading strongly throughout the entire Northeast Corporation. With the motto for action in 2025: “Breakthrough - Development - Safety - Efficiency”, the member units of the Northeast Corporation are focusing on effectively implementing three breakthroughs. These include effectively fulfilling their roles as “Fighting Force - Working Force - Production Force”; preparing for investment and implementing new projects, such as deep mining at Dong Ri and Bao Dai mines; expanding into new production areas such as bauxite and titanium; promoting the application of modern technology and digitizing operational and production processes; and focusing on comprehensive management of resources (human, financial, technology, market, etc.) to create momentum for sustainable growth in the new development era.
