Branit Xhaka (Sunderland) and Arsenal's Bukayo Saka
Arsenal have not visited the Stadium of Light since 2016 but they have not lost here since February 2012 in the FA Cup (0-2), while their last defeat in the Premier League was in November 2009 (1-0). But Regis Le Bris' Black Cats are a tough team to beat and with veteran midfielder Granit Xhaka on the pitch, Sunderland will be hoping to stop the London giants.
In his pre-match press conference, manager Regis Le Bris insisted that Xhaka's knowledge of his former club Arsenal would give Sunderland an advantage. The Black Cats came from behind to share points with Everton on Monday night to sit comfortably in the top four, and they will surely be satisfied with a point from their clash with Arsenal. Having shocked Chelsea by coming from behind to beat Chelsea 2-1 at Stamford Bridge in round 9, Sunderland will be keen to surprise leaders Arsenal in the early hours of November 9.
Former Getafe centre-back Omar Alderete remains doubtful, while Afolarin Alese, Dennis Cirkin, Romaine Mundle, Habib Diarra and Leo Fuhr Hjelde all remain sidelined through injury.
Arsenal are on course to win back the Premier League title and have been arguably the best team in Europe this season. Mikel Arteta's side are brimming with confidence after five straight league wins, and with their impressive record against Sunderland, it's worth backing Bukayo Saka and co.
Noni Madueke, Gabriel Martinelli, Viktor Gyokeres, Kai Havertz and Martin Odegaard are all sidelined through injury. In Gyokeres' absence, Mikel Merino will lead the attack for the visitors, while Gabriel Jesus is available.
Consulting the experts, the majority supported Arsenal, only Sky Sport commentator Lewis Jones chose Sunderland to win 2-1. While former BBC prediction expert Mark Lawrenson believed Arsenal would win 3-0, former Arsenal legend Paul Merson and former striker Chris Sutton both chose the score of this match to be 0-2, in favor of the away team.
Prediction: Sunderland - Arsenal 0-2

The odds of the match were very different from the start when Arsenal conceded 1 and a half goals, for selection. This morning it was still 1 and a half goals but the price had changed to Arsenal winning enough, losing 9. The market was falling, but it was risky to choose Sunderland.

A draw is not the right answer for this match as 1-1 is priced at 9.2, 0-0 is priced at 9.6. The most popular scores are all in favor of the away team as 0-1 and 0-2 are priced at only 5.4, 1-2 is also priced at 8.8, and 0-3 is priced at 8.3. It seems that fans believe that Arsenal will definitely win this match, the only question is whether they will win by 1, 2 or 3 goals.
