Son Heung Min unexpectedly not awarded Europa League championship medal

According to the British newspaper The Sun, in addition to the Korean player, Rodrigo Bentancur and Cristian Romero also did not have their own championship medals.

Meanwhile, the eight referees who controlled the match were all wearing medals, along with James Maddison, the player who did not play but still wore his match kit to celebrate.

President of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Aleksander Ceferin quickly spoke up about the above incident and met directly with Son Heung Min to apologize.
