SONG CAU: Putting into use 75/76 houses for meritorious people, poor and near-poor households

According to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Song Cau Town, up to now, Song Cau Town has completed and put into use 75/76 houses for meritorious people, poor and near-poor households under the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025. Of which, 9/10 houses are for meritorious people and 66/66 houses are for poor and near-poor households.

To achieve this result, in addition to the support budget of 60 million VND/household to build new houses and 30 million VND/household to repair houses according to regulations, Song Cau Town has called on agencies, organizations, businesses, individuals, cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers, soldiers of the armed forces, union members, members of mass organizations, and people of all walks of life in the town to unite and join hands to support and contribute funds to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for people in the town; mobilize forces such as cadres, soldiers of the armed forces, and youth union members to support households in dismantling temporary and dilapidated houses to ensure site conditions for construction and repair of houses.

In particular, the Fatherland Front Committees at all levels have coordinated with local authorities to send officials to each household to directly guide households in declaring land use rights registration and help households complete land procedures so that people can confidently build houses. Thanks to that, the progress of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in Song Cau has been highly effective.
