On the morning of August 18, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh launched the peak emulation campaign "500 days and nights to complete the target of 3,000km of expressway" at the construction site of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot project through Dak Lak .

In the presence of nearly 2,000 people participating in the online emulation launching ceremony, the Chairman of Son Hai Group proposed two things: "On behalf of the contractors, Son Hai requests that localities create conditions to hand over the site and material mines early for contractors to start construction.

In addition, during the field trip, at the Son Hai construction project, the Prime Minister allowed the use of new technology to make hard dividers to shorten the progress, the cost remains the same, but it is safer, more beautiful and better.

However, currently there are two projects, Bien Hoa - Vung Tau and Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot, that have not been permitted.

"The province has sent a document requesting permission to use new technology. Instead of designing 85cm on the anti-glare mesh, it will be 1.27cm cast directly. All of these changes will be better, construction will be faster, and the cost will not change under any conditions. The contractor hopes to use it soon to speed up the project," Mr. Hai affirmed.

At the ceremony, responding to the contractor's petition, the head of the Government affirmed: "I basically agree with Son Hai's two proposals. The Government recommends that localities focus on removing difficulties in site clearance, material mines, and raw material prices. The work of each ministry and locality must be done by that ministry and locality. If it exceeds their authority, they must report to the Prime Minister."

"This has been proven to be correct and effective in practice, so let's just do it. If there are any procedures that need to be resolved, I will assign Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha to directly handle them."

The Deputy Prime Minister inspected and ordered it to be done immediately, without further delay, because the matter has been proven to be correct and effective by the majority, so why wouldn't we dare to decide and do it," the head of the Government emphasized.

"I request that localities promote a sense of responsibility and immediately handle the situation so as not to block the mines of common construction materials, which have been proposed by the government with special mechanisms, especially direct assignment to contractors. Secondly, Son Hai Group has proposed to improve some techniques through practical work, which must be done immediately," the Prime Minister reiterated.

The Prime Minister asked ministries, branches and localities to uphold their sense of responsibility for the common good and national interests, and strive to complete the target of 3,000km of expressway by 2025 set by the 13th National Party Congress.

It is known that Son Hai Group is implementing 12 expressway projects. Chairman Nguyen Viet Hai committed to exceeding the schedule by 3-6 months for some projects; committed to completing the component project of the 3 Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot projects in 2025, 1 year ahead of the schedule in the contract. The contractor's representative affirmed that the Prime Minister's launching of the emulation in Buon Ma Thuot is very meaningful, because in the past, Buon Ma Thuot was a place associated with the milestone of the opening of the Central Highlands campaign, creating a turning point for the successful implementation of the Ho Chi Minh campaign, leading to the liberation of the South. With that momentum and spirit, Son Hai is completely confident that the peak of the emulation to complete the target of 3,000km will be successful.

Previously, this contractor had a project that finished 1 year early such as Van Phong - Nha Trang highway.
