In 2025, natural disasters struck one after another, causing many people to face challenges beyond their endurance. From the North to the Central region, storms followed one another, flash floods rolled in, carrying mud and tears of the people. Houses were swept away, roads collapsed, schools, hospitals and many constructions were submerged in water; fertile fields turned into vast seas of mud. In that situation, implementing the policy of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee on supporting people affected by storms and floods, the Provincial Red Cross Society called on clubs and volunteer teams working in humanitarian and charitable activities in the area to join hands in organizing relief activities, helping people in some northern mountainous provinces affected by storms No. 10 and No. 11 and floods after the storms.
Accordingly, many organizations, clubs and individuals in the province quickly responded, joined hands to donate and directly participated in relief activities, bringing human warmth to people in flood-affected areas. In particular, volunteer clubs: Tam Thanh, Tam Bang Huu, Hoa Huong Duong, Tu Thien Quang Yen, Giot Hong Dat Phat, 24h Blood Bank, Huyen Tam, Shuffle Dance Hong Ha, Viet Thuan Company Limited and the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung (Bai Chay ward) mobilized 52 tons of goods and necessities worth about 820 million VND and 66 million VND in cash. The goods and relief money were handed over to people in the communes of Quang Son, Dan Tien, Van Han, Nam Hoa (Thai Nguyen province) and My Thai, Tan Yen ( Bac Ninh province).
The relief journey was carried out by the members of the volunteer group with all their hearts, a spirit of solidarity and deep sharing. Trucks loaded with necessities such as rice, instant noodles, warm blankets, life jackets, drinking water, medicine, etc. were delivered to every household in the damaged area. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, representative of the volunteer group in Bai Chay ward, shared: “Seeing the smiles and emotions of the people when receiving the gifts, we felt all the hardships disappear. The small gifts contain our hearts, hoping that everyone will soon stabilize their lives and overcome difficulties after the natural disaster.”

Huyen Tam Charity Club also mobilized resources to support people in Thai Nguyen province with necessities worth 110 million VND; and gave cash gifts to people in difficult circumstances, worth 92 million VND. Ms. Tran Thi Ha, Head of Huyen Tam Club, said: "As soon as we received information that people in flood-affected areas were facing difficulties, we mobilized members and called on the community to join hands to help. This activity is not only to support people to overcome immediate difficulties, but also to spread the spirit of sharing and community solidarity, so that everyone can contribute in times of need."
According to statistics from the Provincial Red Cross, during the flood caused by storms No. 10 and No. 11, Quang Ninh had 14 clubs, volunteer groups, and hundreds of individuals participating in support, with a total value of more than 3.2 billion VND. These contributions not only met the immediate needs of people in the flood-affected areas, but also demonstrated a spirit of sharing and deep community cohesion.
Each gift and each relief truck is a beautiful image of the spirit of “helping each other”, demonstrating responsibility, affection and sharing between people. With the support of all levels and sectors, and the love spreading from the community, people in disaster areas will soon stabilize their lives and restore production.
