Strengthening exchanges, connecting businesses and promoting Vietnam-China trade

On April 25, at the headquarters of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), Vietnamese Ambassador to China Pham Thanh Binh had a working session with CCPIT Chairman Ren Hongbin.

At the meeting, Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh emphasized that 2025 marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries and is also the Vietnam-China Humanitarian Exchange Year. Based on the common understanding reached between the senior leaders of the two Parties and countries, especially after the recent State visit to Vietnam by General Secretary and President of China Xi Jinping, the two sides need to continue to promote effective cooperation in various fields, including trade and investment promotion.

Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh suggested that CCPIT continue to coordinate and create conditions for Vietnamese ministries, branches, localities, associations and enterprises to carry out exchange activities, connect businesses and promote trade in China.

Welcoming President Ren Hongbin to spend more time visiting Vietnam, Ambassador Pham Thanh Binh affirmed that the Vietnamese Embassy in China is ready to play the role of a bridge, supporting CCPIT in cooperating with Vietnamese partners, as well as connecting businesses of the two countries.

Appreciating the effective cooperation between CCPIT and the Vietnamese Embassy in China in recent times, Chairman Nham Hongbin emphasized that CCPIT wishes to coordinate to effectively implement the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between CCPIT and the Vietnam Federation of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) signed during the recent visit of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping.

CCPIT is ready to coordinate with the Embassy and relevant ministries and branches of Vietnam to organize exchange and business connection activities, effectively and substantially organize Business Forums during the visits and working sessions of the two countries' senior leaders.

Chairman Ren Hongbin said that with a network covering all localities in the country, as well as 34 representative offices abroad, CCPIT is ready to support Vietnamese local delegations to organize activities in Chinese localities, calling on many Vietnamese enterprises to participate in trade and investment promotion activities organized by CCPIT.
