The implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on tourism development cooperation between the 5 cities for the period 2022 - 2025 has achieved many remarkable results. Every year, the cities discuss and develop a common tourism promotion and advertising plan with the spirit of creating all favorable conditions; support the dissemination and introduction of the images and tourism products of the 5 cities on the mass media of each locality; organize survey teams to promote and market the tourism products of the localities; support in building the tourism image of the localities as a basis for destination marketing.

This opens up opportunities for businesses to open new tours and tourist routes. The rate of tourism attraction between cities in the Central Highlands and Tuy Hoa city in the period of 2022 - 2024 accounts for about 6 - 10% of annual tourists. Tourism revenue from the following year is always higher than the previous year, contributing significantly to the economic growth of the cities.
From 2022 to 2024, tourism promotion activities have had clear changes. In 2022, from 12 tours and routes connecting tourism exploitation with cities in the system, by 2024, there were over 30 tours and routes connecting tourism.

The cities have successfully implemented the Project “Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities in association with tourism development”. In recent years, some villages in the cities have received investment from the Provincial People’s Committee to develop community tourism.
The city’s OCOP products are gradually affirming their brand and quality and are displayed at the OCOP product booths of the province and city and during the Festivals connecting people and tourists. Large-scale cultural, artistic and sports activities are also organized by the cities to contribute to stimulating demand, promoting and attracting tourists.
Despite many positive results and great potentials as well as favorable natural conditions, tourism in the cities has not really developed commensurate with the value of this land. In fact, tourism in the cities has not yet met the needs of tourists; there are still limitations in tourism promotion and advertising.

Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of Buon Ma Thuot City People's Committee Pham Tien Hung emphasized that in the coming time, although there will be no district-level government, with the achieved results, the 5 cities in the system hope that the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the localities will continue to pay attention to maintaining the connection and promoting tourism between the central wards of the provinces. Thereby, exploiting and maximizing the different potentials, outstanding opportunities, and competitive advantages of the province to develop tourism, contributing to promoting economic growth in 2025 and the following years, creating a solid foundation to achieve double-digit growth in the period of 2026 - 2030.
