Strengthening information and propaganda cooperation between Vietnam News Agency and Thai Binh province

Speaking at the meeting, General Director Vu Viet Trang introduced the general structure and operation of Vietnam News Agency as the National News Agency, the strategic information agency of the Party and State.

Vietnam News Agency has a system of permanent offices covering all 63 provinces and cities nationwide and 30 permanent offices abroad located on all five continents. As the main national press agency with more than 50 domestic and foreign information products, Vietnam News Agency has a full range of forms with abundant resources and information, meeting the diverse needs of domestic and foreign audiences.

The General Director of Vietnam News Agency thanked the leaders of Thai Binh province for always paying attention, creating favorable conditions and supporting Vietnam News Agency, especially the Resident Office in the province, to work and operate effectively, contributing to accurately and promptly promoting the image of Thai Binh on the information channels of Vietnam News Agency.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee Ngo Dong Hai informed the Working Group about some highlights of local socio -economic development. Accordingly, in 2023, overcoming many difficulties, the economic development situation in the area achieved positive results.

In early March 2024, the province will announce the Provincial Planning for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, and promote investment. This will be the premise and basis for Thai Binh to continue developing, with the goal of becoming a locality in the fairly developed group and one of the industrial development centers of the Red River Delta.

The Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee thanked and appreciated the contributions of Vietnam News Agency in general and Vietnam News Agency Resident Office in Thai Binh in particular to the overall development of the province, with official, timely, objective and comprehensive information in all fields, contributing to bringing the image of Thai Binh to a large number of domestic and foreign readers.

In the coming time, the Secretary of Thai Binh Provincial Party Committee hopes to continue receiving the attention and support of Vietnam News Agency in the work of information and propaganda, orienting public opinion, and delving into topics on implementing the Party's guidelines and State's policies.

At the meeting, General Director Vu Viet Trang informed the provincial leaders about the change in personnel of the Head of the Vietnam News Agency Resident Office in Thai Binh and presented the province with a photo of "President Ho Chi Minh attending the Production Congress in Dong Lam commune, Tien Hai district, Thai Binh province".
