Naval Squadron 128 coordinates maritime and island awareness campaigns in Thanh Hoa province, combined with attracting human resources.

On April 14th, at Sam Son High School (Sam Son City) and Luong Dac Bang High School (Hoang Hoa District), the 128th Naval Squadron, in coordination with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, organized a campaign to promote awareness of the sea and islands, combined with efforts to attract human resources for building a modern Navy.

Colonel Hoang Le Minh, Secretary of the Party Committee of Naval Squadron 128, presided over the propaganda sessions.

More than 250 teachers and students from various schools attended the awareness sessions. Speakers from Naval Squadron 128 provided information on the recent situation of the sea and islands; the position and role of Vietnam's sea and islands in the cause of national construction and defense; the sea and islands of Thanh Hoa province – their potential and advantages; the functions, tasks, construction process, combat, and growth, along with the outstanding achievements and victories of the Vietnam People's Navy over the past 70 years; the results in fulfilling the task of protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland and building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern Vietnam People's Navy; and information on the 2025 enrollment for the Naval Academy...

Propaganda activities related to the sea and islands, combined with efforts to attract human resources for building a modern Navy, are given annual attention by the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and the Party Committee and Command of Naval Squadron 128. This has led to a shift in awareness and consciousness regarding the protection of the sea and islands among the people, particularly high school students; and has contributed to improving the quality of human resources for the Navy in the future, meeting the requirements of firmly protecting the sacred sovereignty of the Fatherland's sea and islands.

According to the plan, Naval Squadron 128 will continue its awareness campaign at the following schools: Hau Loc 2 High School (Hau Loc) and Nga Son High School (Nga Son).
