Over the years, Luong Son commune has implemented various solutions to encourage people to plant production forests, gradually forming linkages in planting, processing, and consuming forest products.

Established in 2009, Thuong Xuan Forestry Products Processing Company Limited in Ngoc Son village specializes in producing veneer for export. Company director Le Ngoc Thanh stated: "After surveying, the company chose Luong Son as the location for investment and production because the commune and neighboring areas have abundant raw materials. Throughout the production and business process, the company has always received support from the local government. Currently, the company provides regular employment for over 10 workers and hundreds of workers in the raw material production area."

According to Trinh Van Truong, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Luong Son commune, "The commune currently has over 2,500 hectares of production forest, mainly acacia trees. This is considered an advantage for the commune to develop forestry, linked with timber processing. The commune has propagated and mobilized the people to actively plant production forests, implementing legal regulations on the development of forestry economy linked with processing. To improve the quality of planted forests, the commune has actively propagated to people to change production forest planting practices to build a sustainable raw material area for the timber processing industry, including increasing forest planting according to FSC standards. Strictly managing the quality of forestry seedlings from nurseries and seedling farms in the area. Planning and investing in the development of raw material areas to serve timber processing; effectively implementing joint ventures and linkages between processing facilities and forest planters. Encouraging local people to invest in developing long-cycle production forests and converting small timber forest areas to large timber development." "During that period, we focused on building and managing sustainable forests according to FSC standards. To date, over 685 hectares of forest in the commune have been certified by FSC. Forest management, protection, and fire prevention and control have been given attention and implemented, ensuring stable forest security."

Thanks to various attractive solutions, the commune now has 7 effective timber purchasing and processing facilities, meeting the needs of the people for linking and consuming timber from planted forests, creating jobs for nearly 100 workers and thousands of workers in the raw material area.
