Increase the use of the i-Speed ​​application.

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document urging the implementation and promotion of the i-Speed ​​application to improve the quality of 4G mobile services, as a basis for implementing solutions to improve internet network quality.

The i-Speed ​​application helps collect information, providing a basis for deploying solutions to improve the quality of telecommunications networks in the area. In the photo: Viettel customers experience the 5G network that was commercialized at the end of 2024.

Currently, the use of i-Speed ​​to measure internet speed (thereby accurately reflecting the actual state of the telecommunications network in the province) is not consistent. Ba Ria City and Vung Tau City are the two localities that achieve a minimum of 300 measurements per month.

To ensure the complete and detailed collection of internet speed data, accurately reflecting the current state of the telecommunications network in the province, and to serve as a basis for implementing solutions to improve internet quality to meet the needs of the people as well as promote the development of the digital economy and digital infrastructure in the province, the Provincial People's Committee assigns departments, agencies, and localities to continue disseminating information so that officials, civil servants, and the people understand and use i-Speed.
