By the end of May 2025, the province's economic growth rate will reach 7.8%, with the industrial and construction sector increasing by 12.1%, services by 5.4%, and agriculture, forestry and fishery by 1.3%. Total export turnover will reach 5.2 billion USD, up 16.5% over the same period last year, with key products being electronic components, auto parts and precision mechanics.
Vinh Phuc continues to attract FDI capital with a total newly registered capital of 315 million USD, including 12 new FDI projects with a total registered capital of 98 million USD and 18 projects with increased capital of 217 million USD. Thanks to the favorable investment environment, the province aims to attract at least 800 million USD of FDI capital in 2025.
To help businesses improve their competitiveness, the province has continuously improved its support policies, from improving the investment environment, enhancing production capacity to developing high-quality human resources. Along with that, it has invested heavily in industrial infrastructure to attract businesses and help businesses increase their ability to participate in the global supply chain. Currently, industrial parks in the area are designed and planned according to international standards, creating favorable conditions for domestic and foreign businesses to expand production.
In addition, the province has implemented policies to reduce taxes, support land rental costs and access preferential loans, helping businesses develop sustainably. The province also regularly coordinates with domestic and foreign organizations to promote trade, organizes specialized training courses on supply chain management, ISO standards and export skills. In the first 5 months of 2025, more than 7,200 workers participated in training courses, helping them become familiar with advanced production technology and modern management processes.
Notably, the province has also promoted business networking conferences, helping local businesses sign contracts with multinational corporations. Thanks to these activities, 150 small and medium-sized enterprises in the area have officially joined the supply chains of foreign companies in 2025, opening up wider export opportunities.
In fact, Vinh Phuc is becoming an attractive destination for FDI enterprises, especially in the fields of manufacturing auto parts, electronics and high technology. The province has received 21 advanced technology projects from Japan and Germany, helping domestic enterprises access modern production processes and improve product quality.
In addition, the province is also cooperating with research institutes and universities at home and abroad to develop green production technology, helping local enterprises improve their competitiveness and meet the strict requirements of the international market.
A typical example of a local enterprise supported to participate in the global supply chain is A My Hoa Son Ceramic Joint Stock Company, Thai Hoa - Lien Son - Lien Hoa Industrial Park (Lap Thach), specializing in the production of ceramic tiles, wall tiles and SPC floor panels.
The company has received support from authorities at all levels in expanding production, improving technology and enhancing product quality to meet international standards. Thanks to policies supporting capital, human resource training and trade promotion, A My Hoa Son ceramics has gradually joined the global supply chain, exporting products to more than 20 international markets.
In addition, the company is also a pioneer in applying green production technology, ensuring that products meet international standards of quality and environmental safety. This helps businesses not only expand export markets but also improve competitiveness in the construction materials industry.
Currently, the province has more than 520 enterprises exporting a variety of products such as motorbikes, phone components, computers, electronics, textiles, etc. to more than 45 countries and territories. To expand export markets, enterprises are stepping up trade promotion in major markets such as the US, EU, Korea, Japan, Australia and Taiwan.
Compared to Bac Ninh , Hai Phong and Binh Duong - the leading industrial centers of the country, Vinh Phuc has advantages in new infrastructure, reasonable production costs and a stable investment environment. However, to compete effectively, the province needs to continue to increase the application of high technology, expand international cooperation and create more favorable conditions for businesses to access international markets.
In the future, local businesses will have to meet strict environmental standards as multinational corporations increasingly prioritize suppliers with sustainable development strategies. Therefore, the province has implemented a program to support businesses in applying green production models, helping them improve their competitiveness and expand international markets.
