Creating conditions for business development

Mr. Tran Hoang Lac, Chairman of Ngoc Hien District People's Committee, said: “The whole district has over 149 enterprises, 31 cooperatives, 1,102 business households in the agricultural and non-agricultural sectors. Every year, enterprises, cooperatives, and business households contribute greatly to the state budget and social security work of the district. In 2022, the district collected 31 billion 489 million VND in budget revenue, reaching 116.62% of the plan, up 7.62% over the same period. From the beginning of the year to May 15, the total budget revenue of the district was 10.6 billion VND, reaching 36.55% of the yearly plan. In which, enterprises contribute greatly to revenue, focusing on revenue sources such as: corporate tax, registration fees, land use tax and other tax sources".

Ngoc Hien district continues to support the most favorable policies for production establishments, business households, and cooperatives to operate.

My Hang Electronics Store, Vien An Commune, is one of the enterprises that fulfills its tax obligations well, contributing to the state budget revenue. Ms. Vo Thi Le Hang, My Hang Electronics Store, shared: “The local government is very interested in enterprises, regularly meeting and exchanging through dialogues and weekend coffees between district leaders and enterprises to remove difficulties and obstacles regarding administrative procedures and tax policies. Basically, the production and business activities of enterprises in the district closely follow the district's orientations”.

Ngoc Hien District is very interested in businesses, always listening to comments to create the most favorable conditions for businesses to operate. Regarding tax payment, if in the past businesses had to go directly to tax offices, now most of them pay taxes online, reducing travel time and saving costs.

Ms. Cao My Linh, Truc Huynh Gold Shop Private Enterprise, Hamlet 1, Rach Goc Town, shared: “My company, like other companies, always strictly complies with tax declaration and full tax payment according to regulations. In addition, gold trading activities are carried out publicly, transparently, clearly in terms of revenue, and strictly comply with tax policies and laws.”

Supporting business development, in May, the district issued 56 individual business registration certificates, with a capital of 6.94 billion VND, and issued and exchanged 6 certificates. Accumulated from the beginning of the year until now, 232 certificates have been issued.

In the first months of the year, with the support of the State, the business community of Ngoc Hien district overcame difficulties to do business smoothly and effectively.

Mr. Nguyen Hoang Hon, a tourism business owner in Dat Mui commune, commented: "The local government is interested in encouraging and developing businesses in the district, creating conditions for accessing bank loans, doing business in an equal environment, and implementing tax policies."

Ngoc Hien district promotes propaganda, fully and effectively disseminates the resolutions, guidelines, lines and policies of the Party and the State on encouraging enterprise development; protects the legal property rights and freedom of business of the people and enterprises according to the Constitution and the law; creates an investment and business environment for enterprises; at the same time strictly handles all violations of the law; ensures equal rights for all enterprises operating in production and business in the area.

Mr. Tran Hoang Lac informed: “Since the beginning of the year, the district has organized two meetings with enterprises and direct dialogues with more than 100 enterprises and production and business households in the area. In general, the district has supported enterprises with a focus and key points, anticipating new business trends; developing business models based on innovation, digital economy , sharing economy, circular economy, green economy and sustainable business; promoting the formation of enterprises with the ability to lead in a number of potential industries and fields, creating new growth momentum and implementing sustainable development goals”./.
