Deo Ca Group "places an order" with Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport

In response to the strategy for railway and metro construction and development in the 2025-2035 period, especially the metro lines of Hanoi , Ho Chi Minh City and the North-South high-speed railway, Deo Ca Group (DCG) has cooperated with Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport (UTH) to recruit and train high-quality human resources.

Accordingly, DCG and UTH agreed to establish the Human Resources Training and Practical Application Project of Ho Chi Minh City University of Transport - Deo Ca (UTH-DCG); together sending personnel to participate in developing training programs, personnel selection plans, training organization plans, output assessment standards and post-training reception.

DCG sets criteria on qualifications and quality after training for UTH to select students, and at the same time commits to the treatment regime, accepting all human resources according to the quantity and standards agreed upon by both parties.

For students in their third year and above who want to change their major to railways - metro, if additional training costs arise, DCG will cover all costs and create internship opportunities with support rates. In particular, DCG will sponsor scholarships and cover specialized courses abroad for excellent students.

The cooperation model includes ordering at the source and on-site training. According to the ordering model, UTH designs a separate training program according to DCG's order and trains a separate high-speed railway and metro human resource package for the group. The training content includes 30% theory and 70% field work at the construction site, the project agreed upon by DCG and UTH.

For the on-site training model, UTH designs a training program that is theoretical and systematized in practice for DCG engineers, applicable to the majors of traffic engineering, automotive mechanics, organization and operations management.

UTH organizes a training program to convert diplomas to the railway - metro industry for DCG's technical staff; designs a master's and doctoral training program for DCG's engineers, in compliance with the diploma granting conditions of the Ministry of Education and Training .

To enhance the practicality of training, UTH regularly sends students to practice at DCG's units and project sites, and DCG will arrange instructors and internship conditions such as travel and accommodation for students.

Along with the digital transformation trend, UTH and DCG coordinate to conduct in-depth research to solve issues of science and technology, digital technology for DCG's activities in the field of transport infrastructure.

With 38 years of operation and development, DCG has a lot of practical experience in construction, management and rich corporate culture. DCG and UTH commit to closely coordinate so that UTH units and lecturers can access management technology and corporate culture. At the same time, UTH can participate in consulting and implementing projects that DCG will deploy investment and construction domestically and internationally, applying construction technology of NATM tunnels, TBM, cable-stayed bridges, etc. by sending personnel to participate in implementing projects in the consulting field; project establishment, design, construction, installation, operation, etc.

To concretize the cooperation, the two sides will allocate resources and facilities to build the Deo Ca Practical Application Center right at UTH, specializing in researching BIM models, organizing tunnel drilling construction using TBM, building a Center for quality management, labor safety, etc.
