At the training class, trainees received experience and skills in making longform for online newspapers from journalist Vu The Cuong, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, lecturer at the Center for Journalism Training, Vietnam Journalists Association .

In particular, the focus is on introducing the concept of longform; the formal characteristics (title, sapo, images...) of this type of article; instructions on how to choose a topic, collect information; skills in integrating data journalism, increasing the interactive element in journalistic products; the process and steps to deploy articles presented in longform form...

By participating in the training, editors, reporters, and technicians have the opportunity to approach and become familiar with the basic skills in modern electronic journalism, especially in implementing long-form journalism. From there, they will gradually improve their knowledge and skills in modern journalism, creating an easy-to-access spread of information for readers.
